Hey there! I’m Simran, and I’m so happy you’re here. 🤍

I created Home and Heaven because I’ve always enjoyed making spaces feel warm, beautiful, and inviting. I’m the kind of person who notices the little things, a cozy corner, a pretty cushion, warm lighting, a nicely styled shelf, or even a small change that somehow makes a room feel completely different.

And honestly, I love finding ways to create that feeling without spending a fortune.

A Little About Me

I’m Simran, and home décor has always been something I naturally enjoy.

I love looking at beautiful interiors and getting ideas from different styles, but what I enjoy even more is thinking about how those ideas can actually work in a real home.

Not every home has a huge living room, a massive decorating budget, or a picture-perfect space. Most of us are simply trying to make the space we already have feel a little nicer.

That’s where my love for affordable home décor comes in.

I enjoy finding those little changes that can make a big difference, whether it’s styling a bedroom, creating a cosy reading corner, making a bathroom look more aesthetic, or simply giving an unused space a new purpose.

For me, decorating isn’t about making a home look like it belongs in a magazine.

Why I Started Home and Heaven

I started Home and Heaven to create a little corner of the internet where I could share the home ideas I love.

There are so many beautiful homes and décor ideas online, but sometimes they can feel expensive, complicated, or simply unrealistic for everyday life.

I wanted to share something different.

Here, you’ll find ideas that are cozy, aesthetic, practical, and budget-friendly, with plenty of inspiration that you can adapt to your own space.

You don’t need to completely redecorate your house to make it feel beautiful.

I’m All About the Little Things

One thing you’ll probably notice about me is that I don’t believe decorating always has to mean buying something new.

Sometimes moving your furniture can completely change a room.

Sometimes adding a lamp, a mirror, some greenery, soft bedding, or a few decorative pieces is enough.

And sometimes the best idea is simply using something you already own in a new way.

I love those little transformations.

They remind me that creating a beautiful home doesn’t have to be stressful or expensive. It can actually be fun.

My Home Philosophy

If I had to describe my approach to home décor in one sentence, it would be:

Make your home beautiful, but make sure it still feels like you.

I don’t think every room needs to look the same.

And I definitely don’t think you need an expensive home to have a beautiful one.

Your home should reflect the people who live there. It should feel comfortable when you walk through the door and make you happy to spend time there.

So take the ideas you find here and make them your own.

Change the colours. Use what you already have. Leave out the things that don’t suit your style.

There are no strict rules here.
